【ANNOUNCEMENT】 Update on the Work Permit Application Process
We would like to bring your attention to the update on the Work Permit Application Process in NKUST.
The OIA is implementing an updated procedure to better safeguard the rights of qualified international students applying for work permit. Please ensure that you are aware of the key changes outlined below.
【KEY CHANGES】
1. To streamline the work permit application process for international students, the OIA will replace the previously required “Consent Form of Work Permit Application for Overseas Students” with a newly issued “Work Permit Application for NKUST International Students-Letter of Undertaking”, which students are required to sign.
2. After online review by OIA, relevant departments and colleges will be regularly informed of the students’ application status, allowing them to monitor and support their students accordingly.
3. The newly issued “Work Permit Application for NKUST International Students-Letter of Undertaking” is attached for reference.
【IMPORTANT REMINDER】
1. Students are advised to review the content carefully and follow the updated procedure when applying.
2. We strongly suggest that all students follow the correct steps to avoid processing issues.
