For partner university coordinators:                                                                   

1. Each our partner university is assigned with only one coordinator as the nominator for the agreements, for example: exchange student agreement for one particular nominator, dual degree agreement for another nominator; two agreements can also be assigned to the same nominator. If there is more than one nominator please kindly inform us via the email t0978362253@nkust.edu.tw.

2. Please via the link in the email or below that we send you from the online system to log into Nomination page and place your nominate students. The account will be your email without the password for the first time log in. After the first time log in, you could set your own password for the multiple log-in regarding to the future semesters nomination use.

3. The nominated students will receive an email with registration link after our Office of International Affairs (OIA) verified the nominations. Please note that this service is only available during the nomination and apply period.

For nominate students instruction:

Step 1. Your home university coordinators fill in the online nomination.

Step 2. Student receives the notification email for Online Application and fills in the information after the nomination.

Step 3. After students complete the application and upload the required documents. NKUST departments and OIA will start to review the applications.

Step 4.After the whole review process being done, the result will be announced via online system; students, please log in your account and check it.

Step 5.If students are accepted and pass the application reviewing, students will have to fill in the final check for registration and download the Letter of Acceptance on students’ own application resultpage.

Step 6.After the completion of Step5, students should fill in and complete the insurance, fight and pick-up information on the Result page.

 

3. Application Notice
  1.  1.For the actual amount of payment please refer to the payment slip issued by the Office of General Affairs via your student portal of NKUST.

2. Two Recommendation Letters from University professors in one file

3. A Scan of Official Transcript of Records

4. A Scan of Your Passport

5. Study Plan (you may download the example file via online systemdocuments upload part)

6. English/Chinese Language Certificate (CEFR B1 level in English or Chinese, equivalent certificate such as TOEFL IBT / IELTS /TOEIC is accepted.)

 

Languages of Instruction English and Chinese
Courses available to Exchange Students Undergraduate exchange students may choose from undergraduate courses of all faculties provided. The majority of courses should be (suggested) from the faculty where they are enrolled during the stay at NKUST considering of students background in relevant field of study and proficiency.

Language Requirement

For Englishtaught courses(No other tests are accepted except those tests which mentioned below)

Undergraduate : equivalent as CEFR B1 or above

Graduate : equivalent as CEFR B2 or above

  3. 3. IELTS: 5.0 (B1) / 5.5 (B2)

For Mandarin taught courses(No other tests are accepted except those tests which mentioned below)

Undergraduate & Graduate: Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL) Level 3 or equivalent as CEFR B1 or below mentioned Mandarin proficiency certificate.

 

 

 

We strongly recommend students who want toapply for undergraduate study should at least capable with basic Chinese conversation.

Language classes for exchange students Chinese language classesat different levels are offered every semester. (Free of charge for exchange students)

 

5. Facility Fees

The facility fees include Computer Network usage fee which cost NTD 200~300 per semester.
