【Event Announcement】BA.International@HKA project-Meet your partners! Virtual Teaching Collaboration
Event Information
Event Purpose and Aim：
Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences (HKA) in Germany is happy to present its new internationalization project funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research: The Bachelor International. At the core of this project are the development and the introduction of new collaborative digital teaching formats with our six partner universities from the Taiwan University Alliance for Applied Sciences (TAItech). We would like to invite you to join us at this networking event and meet with professors and university staff from Karlsruhe and Taiwan. You will have the opportunity to explore more about teaching and learning in international virtual teams, ask questions, tell your stories and most importantly meet partners for common digital teaching projects.
Event Detail：
The team BA.International@HKA has found speakers who will report on the learning and teaching culture in Germany and Taiwan, who will address the challenges of team building in English-language (non-native) lectures, and also speakers who will give our participants useful advice on designing digital teaching formats. They are currently looking for professors from Taiwan who would like to present their project ideas in a short pitch during the event or share best practice experiences in comparable formats. Some of HKA professors already have concrete project ideas for which they are looking for partners. It would also be nice to have proposals from Taiwan that professors from Germany might be interested in.
